      > Firearm-related injuries are the leading cause of death for children and teens in the United States, a trend that has held true since it surpassed motor vehicle crashes in 2020.

      Well done America!

    2. I am from Australia, 20 mins away from Bondi and I am very much affected by what happened. Can’t even fathom how and why it happened. The only positive thing (outside of the hero who stopped one gunman) is that we don’t have ARs easily available in this country.

    3. That’s more mass shootings in USA this year than from 2009 – 2022 combined. One highly charged year and already 384 mass shootings.

    4. I’m in the UK and actually don’t know what any of the three were?

My probably incorrect guess is all gang/crime related, so less covered in the media?

Edit: I think its four or more injuries I thought it was homicides. Only one of the UK cases I can find resulted in any fatalities, it was in Northern Ireland and was not related to any gang type activity so I was wrong

No time for this we need to be focusing our resources on people’s genitalia and what bathrooms they should be using

Americans look at the numbers and the mental gymnastics to protect frail egos will make them reframe it as “winning”.

I don’t even want to fact check this.

Even if the math was off, or there was a rounding error, surely it couldn’t come close to shaving off the hundreds that we eclipse the rest of the world combined,, by.

    8. Two of three in Germany where murder-suicides, one of it by a cop. The third one was a shooting after a family feud after a murder with no fataliies.

    9. Unfortunately, because of the border, guns are becoming more common in Canada. I suspect we will be inching up in the statistics.

    10. They conveniently left off Ukraine, Syria, and Israel off their lists; clearly just trying to make the US look bad.

    11. Where is India? It has 1.4 billion people, why are they not killing eachother? Time to study how they are managing it so well and where west is failing
